Senior Technical Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager – PTC Windchill PLM to lead the technical architecture, development, implementation, integration, and support of enterprise PLM solutions.

The role requires strong hands-on knowledge of the PTC Windchill platform combined with technical leadership and delivery management capabilities. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, functional consultants, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external partners to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for PTC Windchill implementation, enhancement, upgrade, migration, and support initiatives.
• Define solution architecture and technical designs aligned with enterprise PLM requirements.
• Review solution designs, customizations, integrations, and development deliverables.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and performance bottlenecks and drive appropriate remediation.
• Guide development using Java/J2EE, Windchill APIs, Info*Engine, REST/web services, XML, JavaScript, and SQL, depending on the solution architecture.
• Lead configuration and customization of Windchill capabilities such as:
• WTPart and product structures/BOM
• WTDocument and document management
• Change Management
• Lead integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as ERP, CAD, MES, SAP, and other engineering/business systems.
• Lead and mentor Windchill developers, technical leads, and support engineers.
• Estimate technical effort and support project planning, resource allocation, and delivery tracking.
