Product Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with 10+ years of experience in delivering large-scale SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Data Migration, data analysis, cleansing, mapping, transformation, validation, and cutover activities.

The consultant will be responsible for designing and executing end-to-end data migration strategies, working closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure high-quality and seamless migration of master and transactional data from legacy systems into SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or SAP cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP Data Migration activities across multiple projects.
• Define and execute data migration strategy, approach, and governance.
• Conduct data discovery, profiling, and quality assessments.
• Perform data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
• Collaborate with business teams to define migration rules and validation criteria.
• Design and maintain source-to-target mapping documents.
• Lead mock migrations, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.
• Manage data reconciliation and business sign-off processes.
• Identify and resolve migration issues and data quality challenges.
• Coordinate with SAP functional teams
• Develop migration dashboards and status reports for stakeholders.
• Support Hypercare and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines and quality standards
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with business and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience leading migration workstreams and offshore teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment.

• Non-SAP ERP systems to SAP
• Legacy databases and applications

SAP Migration Tools

Hands-on experience with:

• SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit (LTMC/LTMOM)
• SAP Data Services (BODS)
• SAP Information Steward
• SAP Data Intelligence
• SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT)
• Legacy System Migration Workbench (LSMW)
• Migration Object Modeler (MOM)

• Understanding of data models and ETL processes.
• Basic ABAP debugging and functional specification preparation.
• Experience with APIs, flat files, XML, CSV, and middleware integrations.

S/4HANA Experience

• Minimum 2–3 SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology.
• Understanding of SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP Certification in:
• SAP S/4HANA Migration
• SAP Data Services
• SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) (preferred)

PMP, Agile, or Scrum certification is a plus.
