MS SQL Senior Technical Specialist

Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft SSIS packages, SQL Server Reporting (SSRS) solutions, and SQL Server databases. They will play a key role in providing technical expertise and support for data integration, reporting, and database management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop complex microsoft ssis packages to facilitate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
2. Create and maintain sql server reporting (ssrs) reports for business intelligence and data visualization needs.
3. Manage and optimize sql server databases to ensure performance, security, and availability.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support data related projects.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ssis packages, ssrs reports, and sql server databases.
6. Implement best practices for data integration, reporting, and database management.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in microsoft sql server integration services (ssis) for etl processes.
2. Experience in designing and implementing sql server reporting services (ssrs) solutions for business reporting.
3. Strong knowledge of sql server database management, optimization, and troubleshooting.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate technical concepts clearly, and collaborate with stakeholders.
5. Problem-solving skills to analyze complex data requirements and identify optimal solutions.
6. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

Other Requirements

1.Relevant certifications in Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server Reporting Services, or SQL Server are a plus.
