Role Summary:-

• The Interface Automation Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions for validating integrations and data exchanges across multiple CBPR systems — including Core Banking, Payments, Product Accounting, Financial Crime, and Knowledge & Insight.
• The role focuses on ensuring end-to-end validation of APIs, data interfaces, and batch jobs through a robust, reusable automation framework.

Responsibilities:-

• Lead the design and implementation of automated tests for interface and integration validation across the CBPR ecosystem. 
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and Integration Leads to understand API specifications, message formats (JSON, XML), and interface dependencies. 
• Build and maintain API and backend test automation frameworks using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cucumber, or Python. 
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) to enable continuous testing. 
• Support test data automation for interface validation using synthetic data creation or data stubs. 
• Review and optimise automation code to ensure reusability, maintainability, and scalability. 
• Work closely with Test Leads and functional testers to identify automation candidates, define scope, and prioritise coverage. 
• Participate in defect triage and assist with root cause analysis for interface or data validation failures. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to automation engineers within the integration and interface testing teams. 
• Prepare weekly automation progress and efficiency reports for governance.
