Technical Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for a senior IBM Maximo professional with strong hands-on experience in Maximo configuration, customization, development, integration and manufacturing enterprise asset management processes. The candidate should be able to lead solution design, guide implementation teams, interact with business and plant stakeholders, and deliver scalable Maximo solutions across asset, work, inventory, procurement, preventive maintenance and reliability processes.

Key Responsibilities

•    Lead IBM Maximo solution design workshops for manufacturing asset management, maintenance execution, preventive maintenance, reliability and inventory processes.
•    Own configuration and customization of Maximo applications, workflows, automation scripts, escalations, domains, security groups, Start Centers, KPI/result sets and communication templates.
•    Design and review Maximo integrations using Maximo Integration Framework with ERP, MES, SCADA, historian, IoT platforms, procurement, finance and external maintenance systems.
•    Lead data migration and master-data strategy for assets, locations, job plans, PMs, meters, failure codes, inventory, vendors and work history.
•    Guide development activities involving Automation Scripts, Java/MBO customization, application designer changes, BIRT reports, REST/SOAP integrations and deployment packages.
•    Provide technical leadership for Maximo upgrade, migration, cloud/VM deployment, performance tuning, application consolidation and support transition activities.
•    Translate manufacturing maintenance requirements into detailed functional/technical specifications, test scenarios and deployment plans.
•    Mentor junior Maximo consultants/developers and review deliverables for quality, maintainability and best-practice alignment.
•    Support proposal, estimation, capability building, reusable accelerators and interview evaluation for the IBM Maximo capability.
