Software Engineering Intern - Trusted Profile Analyzer (Brno, Czech Republic)
The Red Hat Trusted Profile Analyzer team is looking for an Intern with some experience in Rust or TypeScript/JavaScript language to join us in the Brno office. In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers to contribute to the features for our product. As part of this internship, you will gain hands-on experience with modern development tools and workflows, including Rust, TypeScript, JavaScript, GitHub, GitLab, Jira, AWS, and OpenShift. This long-term internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about Red Hat’s engineering practices and expand your skills in cloud-native product development and automated testing.

Red Hat’s Intern Program is a collaborative effort between the Emerging Talent team and our intern managers. The program is designed to offer a meaningful and well-rounded experience — combining professional development, networking opportunities, social engagement, and impactful work. This is a paid, part-time internship based in the Brno office, with flexible working hours. The expected start date is February 2027.
What you will do:
- Participate in the development of the Trusted Profile Analyzer product, ensuring functionality and performance meet quality standards.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows and publish demos and blog posts for external showcases.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
- Assist in enhancing the automated testing framework.
- Contribute to the overall quality of our offerings by validating new features, improving test processes, and supporting continuous integration workflows.
- Analyze test results and recommend improvements to enhance product quality and user experience.
What you will bring:
- You must be enrolled in an accredited university program in the Czech Republic during the full duration of the internship and must be able to join us part-time from February 2027 till January 2028
- Working knowledge of written and spoken English
- Programming language Rust or TypeScript/JavaScript with 1-2 years of experience
- Experience with using AI Coding assistant
- Experience with Java/Python is a plus
- Familiarity with CI/CD, AWS and Kubernetes is a plus
- Ability to work in a remote environment with people across the globe
- Prior participation in open source software projects is a plus
