Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with strong knowledge of manufacturing and production planning processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA, configuration, MRP, production orders, master data, capacity planning, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support end-to-end SAP Production Planning (PP) processes.
• Work extensively on:
  • Demand Management
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Production Orders
  • Planned Orders
  • Capacity Planning
  • Shop Floor Control
  • Production Execution
  • Repetitive Manufacturing
  • Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order scenarios
• Configure and manage PP master data, including:
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Work Centers
  • Routings
  • Production Versions
  • Material Master
• Support MRP Live and production-planning processes in SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions and system configurations.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Work closely with ABAP and technical teams for custom developments.
• Manage SIT, UAT, regression testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing issues.
• Support integration of PP with SAP MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, PM, and EWM.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents, test scripts, and user guides.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP PP.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production planning business processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Production Planning.
• Strong knowledge of MRP, BOM, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, Production Orders, and Capacity Planning.
• Good understanding of discrete and repetitive manufacturing scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of PP integration with MM, QM, SD, CO, PM, and warehouse processes.
• Experience in implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production-support projects.
• Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP PP/DS or Advanced Planning concepts.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to production planning and execution.
• Experience with manufacturing integration and shop-floor processes.
• SAP S/4HANA certification is an added advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, or energy/wind industry would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

A hands-on SAP PP professional capable of independently managing business requirements, functional design, configuration, testing, production support, and cross-functional integration in an SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environment.
