Senior MES Specialist

As our new Senior MES Specialist, you will represent manufacturing in our global Manufacturing Execution System (MES) program, turning production needs into digital solutions and helping develop and deploy our global MES platform.

What you will be doing

As part of Digital Architecture within Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (AME), you will join an agile, international MES team working across manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and IT.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Understand manufacturing needs and translate them into requirements and user stories focused on business value
• Contribute to designing, developing, testing and implementing MES solutions and related business processes.
• Work across MES and interfacing solutions including ERP, PLM, equipment integration and master data.
• Support line assessments and global deployments, connecting solution knowledge with shop-floor needs.
• Help ensure solutions follow our global template while identifying new requirements for further development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, production plants, deployment teams and other digitalization initiatives around the world.

What makes you a great fit

There is no single career path into this role. You might already work with MES, or your experience could come from manufacturing digitalization, IT/OT, automation or production technology. What matters is your understanding of manufacturing, your curiosity about technology and your ability to turn needs into practical solutions.

• Experience with MES, manufacturing digitalization, IT/OT, automation or production technology
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and shop-floor environments
• Experience translating business or manufacturing needs into digital solutions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across business and technical teams
• Professional proficiency in English

It is a plus, not a requirement, if you have experience with enterprise MES deployments, Siemens Opcenter, SAP ERP Operations, PLM, equipment integration, master data or agile ways of working.

The position is based at our Indjija office, with approximately 20 days of travel per year.
