The Role: We are looking for a motivated and curious Purchasing Intern to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will support day-to-day purchasing activities, working closely with the team and different internal functions. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supplier management, market analysis and procurement processes within an international environment.

What will you do:

• Support day-to-day purchasing activities and the management of suppliers and raw materials.
• Assist the team in collecting and analyzing supplier quotations, purchasing data and market information.
• Support supplier scouting and evaluation activities, working with Purchasing and other internal functions when needed.
• Help monitor supplier performance, delivery conditions and relevant purchasing information.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, R&D and other internal teams to support procurement activities and business needs.
• Maintain and update supplier and purchasing data in company systems, supporting reporting and administrative activities.

Requierements:

• Education: Degree in Food Science & Technologies, Economics, Logistics or other related focus.
• Experience: Previous experience is not required. Any academic or internship experience related to Purchasing or Supply Chain within the food sector will be considered a plus.
• Language Skills: Italian and English language knowledge are mandatory.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially with Excel.
• Behavioral Requirements: Curiosity, Flexibility, Team player, self-motivated.

Other details:

• Location: Gallarate (VA), Italy.
• Working hours: Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday
• Contract: Extracurricular Internship (6+6) 
• Remuneration: expenses reimbursement of €900/month.
• Meal vouchers: €9 for each day spent in the office
