About the Role

Do you want to see the physical packaging you helped develop sitting on supermarket shelves around the world?

As a Packaging Technician, you will play a vital role in bringing our product packaging to life. Working closely with our Packaging Engineers, you will manage laboratory operations, conduct critical packaging and transportation tests, and ensure our systems and specifications are perfectly maintained. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly analytical, detail-oriented individual who wants to build a career in packaging development and project management within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do (Core Responsibilities)

Laboratory Management & Sample Preparation

• Manage and maintain the packaging laboratory and office equipment to ensure full operational readiness, including organizing and tracking scheduled calibration activities.

• Prepare and dispatch samples for packaging tests, transportation tests, machine trials, and cross-functional approvals (including coordinating with internal/external labs and couriers like DHL).

Testing Execution & Co-Packaging Development

• Conduct and support Packaging Engineers with hands-on packaging tests, line tests, transportation tests, and machine trials.

• Accurately record all testing results and prepare detailed, structured reports for technical review.

• Develop, qualify, and successfully implement packaging components specifically for Co-packaging SKUs (promotional or bundled packaging items).

• Perform other related operational, administrative, and project management duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Systems Data & Documentation

• Support the engineering team in maintaining Master Data Governance Management (MDGM) and the SAP Bill of Materials (BOM).

• Assist in the accurate creation and updating of Packaging Specifications (PGSS).

What We Are Looking For (Requirements)

• Education: Associate's Degree, High Vocational Certificate, or Diploma in Technology, Science, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Manufacturing, or a closely related discipline.

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in packaging-product development, laboratory testing, or a similar manufacturing environment. (Highly motivated fresh graduates with strong administrative and project management skills are also welcome to apply).

• Technical & Project Skills: Solid foundational scientific knowledge and hands-on packaging testing skills. Must possess strong project management, administrative, and stakeholder management skills. Highly analytical and data-driven mindset.

• Systems & Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Microsoft Office applications, and basic data analysis tools. Ability to learn and operate SAP (training for SAP will be provided if you have no prior experience).

• Mobility: Must possess a valid driving license and be willing to travel when necessary (e.g., to suppliers or external testing facilities).

• Communication: Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Basic understanding and working communication proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
