Operations Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Amman, Jordan. This role offers the opportunity to lead operational excellence, mentor a high-performing team, and drive strategic improvements across our organization. The successful candidate will bring a strong finance background, operational expertise, and the ability to quickly learn and master new processes.

What you will do

•       Lead and manage a diverse operational team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

•       Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.

•       Drive financial management and cost-optimization initiatives across operational functions.

•       Develop and implement process improvements using AI tools and modern technology solutions.

•       Mentor and develop junior colleagues by providing coaching and creating clear career pathways.

•       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.

•       Analyze operational metrics and key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

What we are looking for

•       8–10 years of experience in operations or finance management.

•       A proven track record of leading teams of five or more professionals.

•       Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

•       Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master complex operational processes and systems.

•       Experience mentoring and developing junior team members.

•       Knowledge of AI tools and their applications in operational efficiency and automation.

•       Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

•       Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

•       A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Preferred qualifications

•       An MBA or other advanced business qualification.

•       Experience in financial operations, such as FP&A, accounting operations, or controllership.

•       Certifications in operations management, project management, or finance.

•       Experience working with ERP or financial management systems.

•       Experience implementing process automation or AI-driven solutions.

•       A track record of leading organizational change initiatives.
