POSITION SUMMARY

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Lead logistics operations in the cluster, driving warehouse and transportation activities through the logistic teams in the OPCs. Execute MENA functional strategy roadmap and support the logistics team in the OPC to drive Customer service, LC2A savings and lead COD optimization across the cluster.

Lead 3PL operational relationship in coordination with logistics team in the OPCs to leverage on clusters synergies and ways of working. Drive Safety mindset, process efficiencies and standardization to ensure sustainability and compliance in operations. Collaborate internally with sales, DSP, CFSC, O2C to facilitate and sustain customer service level and respond to the new business evolution and requirements.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

• Lead warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and distribution operations across the cluster through country logistics teams and logistics partners.
• Drive safety, quality, compliance, and sustainability requirements across all logistics operations.
• Manage the logistics budget and deliver annual cost-optimization objectives through operational efficiencies and improvement projects.
• Ensure timely customs clearance, inbound operations, outbound deliveries, and customer order fulfilment.
• Improve customer service and delivery performance in collaboration with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain teams, and external partners.
• Establish clear performance standards and monitor logistics partners against agreed service, cost, safety, quality, and compliance expectations.
• Evaluate supplier performance and develop supplier and 3PL capabilities to support current and future business requirements.
• Strengthen supplier relationships and leverage synergies across the cluster.
• Ensure compliance with applicable country regulations, contractual requirements, and internal policies and procedures.
• Ensure supplier agreements are reviewed on time, and logistics documentation is accurate, traceable, and properly archived.
• Reduce operational damage and waste while ensuring compliant waste-management practices.
• Apply continuous-improvement methodologies and best practices to strengthen process control, standardization, and performance management.
• Lead logistics transformation, digitalization, and capability-development initiatives across the cluster.
• Support the definition and execution of logistics investments and CAPEX requirements.
• Coach and develop country logistics teams, building strong functional capabilities and a continuous-improvement mindset.

What will make you successful…

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• APICS CSCP, or another relevant professional certification is a plus.
• Minimum eight years of progressive logistics and supply chain experience, including experience in a senior management or regional leadership role.
• Experience in FMCG or a similarly complex operating environment is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing suppliers and 3PL service providers.
• Strong knowledge of logistics budgeting, distribution costs, cost drivers, and cost-optimization.
• Advanced analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret operational and financial information and translate insights into timely actions.
• Strong stakeholder-management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
