  • Driven by ambitious goals and a passion for delivering success for our customers around the world.

Your Impact

As HSE Manager, you will be the site's subject matter expert, providing leadership, coaching and specialist guidance to managers and teams across the factory. You will help create an environment where everyone takes ownership of safety and where environmental performance continues to improve.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading a Safety-First Culture

  • Champion a culture of shared accountability for Health, Safety and Environment across the site.
  • Influence behaviours, engage stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Setting Strategic Direction

  • Identify current and future HSE priorities, risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement site-wide HSE strategies that improve performance and support business objectives.

Driving Compliance and Best Practice

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and management systems.
  • Lead audits, risk assessments and improvement programmes to maintain the highest standards.

Developing People and Capability

  • Coach, train and support managers and team leaders, building confidence and ownership in HSE management.
  • Promote a proactive approach to hazard identification, risk reduction and environmental responsibility.

Supporting Sustainability

  • Play a leading role in advancing our sustainability agenda and environmental improvement programmes.
  • Contribute to our vision of becoming a leader in sustainable manufacturing.

Ingredients for Success

We're looking for a passionate and credible HSE professional who can combine technical expertise with strong leadership and influencing skills.

About you:

HSE Leadership & Change Management

  • Proven experience leading Health, Safety and Environmental programmes within a manufacturing, operational or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive behavioural change and build a high-performing safety culture.

Technical Expertise & Compliance

  • Strong working knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation and management systems.
  • Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Proven track record of leading audits, managing risk and working with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications & Problem Solving

  • NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent qualification).
  • Ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.

Industry Experience

  • Previous HSE experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or a similarly regulated production environment.

Desirable

  • Degree qualified in a technical or related discipline.
  • Environmental management qualifications.
  • Experience with TPM, Lean, IWS, BCOS or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Exposure to sustainability and energy reduction programmes.
