Responsibilities:
  • Lead the monthly General Ledger close process for multiple U.S. legal entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.
  • Partner with regional leadership to drive finance transformation initiatives, including process harmonization, automation, and system improvements.
  • Support ERP enhancements, system implementations, and new business or project launches across the region.
  • Manage and oversee month-end close activities within AS400, and SAP environments.
  • Coordinate regional Finance and Accounting projects, ensuring successful execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead the accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit activities, including year-end reporting requirements.
  • Maintain and improve reporting processes to support operational and financial decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, improve controls, and enhance financial reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required; CPA designation preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including significant General Ledger and month-end close responsibilities.
  • Experience managing accounting activities for multiple legal entities within a manufacturing or multinational environment preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or similar financial platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support.
  • Ability to lead an accounting team providing guidance and motivation to achieve results in a fast paced collaborative environment
