Danfoss CTM R&D and Engineering is looking for a Contract Engineer - Product Test Lab based in Oragadam, India. The role supports R&D and Engineering through product testing and validation, test setup development, data analysis, calibration and verification, technical reporting, and laboratory operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with R&D and Engineering teams to support product development and testing requirements.
• Execute product testing, validation, and analysis while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Develop and manage automated test systems, fixtures, data acquisition, and laboratory equipment.
• Ensure calibration, compliance, maintenance, troubleshooting, and adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with global teams, vendors, and auditors to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline. 

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in Product Testing, Validation, R&D, Engineering, or Laboratory operations. 

• Experience in hardware testing, technical documentation, calibration, verification, validation, instrumentation, and data acquisition. 
• Exposure to refrigeration, valves & controls, HVAC/R, or R&D laboratories is an added advantage. 
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
