Estate Manager (Resale Operations)

On-site HDB HUB, Singapore full time

[What the role is]

The role involves managing customer relations for HDB flat applicants and residents. Key responsibilities include assessing eligibility for flat purchases, CPF housing grants, and HDB loans, as well as processing sale and resale transactions. You'll also handle appeals from applicants who don't meet eligibility conditions, preparing case reports and submissions for management where warranted.

Day-to-day work includes liaising with applicants, solicitors, and relevant agencies, supervising counter operations, and processing Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications. The role offers broad exposure to the HDB flat purchase value chain and opportunities to improve work processes.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities as a customer relations manager are to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership. You will be involved in assessing applicants’ eligibility to buy a new/resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants and take an HDB housing loan, providing guidance towards informed housing and prudent financing decisions or processing of the sale or resale transactions of HDB flats.

You will assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from the eligibility conditions to buy an HDB flat, prepare case reports and draft submissions for management’s consideration for deserving cases. Your duties also include the day-to-day liaison with applicants/residents, solicitors and relevant agencies. You may also be rostered to supervise counter operations to ensure they run smoothly, as well as process Enhanced CPF Housing Grant applications from flat buyers.

These duties will give you an in-depth appreciation of the HDB flat purchase value chain, and present opportunities to streamline work processes for both our customers and staff.

[What we are looking for]

You should be a good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, possess a customer-service mindset and the ability to establish rapport with people at all levels.

Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1-year contract.

All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted for the position within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.
