Claims Analyst

In this role, you will support Claims Operations across Asia-Pacific by overseeing outsourced transactional services and ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and delivery.

About the Role

As a Claims Analyst, you will build strong connect with our Market Units, onshore Claims Handlers, and outsourced service providers. You will support the efficient administration and adjudication of low-touch property and casualty claims while strengthening governance, data quality, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder service across APAC.

 Key Responsibilities

• Administer and adjudicate Low touch Claim Files accurately and efficiently.
• Act as a primary point of Contact for all internal and external stakeholders on Claims Operations requirements
• Ensure compliance with regional regulatory requirements across Asia & Pacific markets
• Manage Claims governance and ensure adherence to KPIs with outsource partners as well as internally
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate data and reporting
• Identify deviations/errors and follow through with appropriate corrective actions
• Support audit activities and prepare requested information for auditors
• Oversee stakeholder management and global reporting
• Collaborate with on-shore Claim Handlers to understand Market Unit expectations
• Participate and deliver in Global Claims Community initiatives/projects as a subject matter expert from APAC aligning with Claims Strategy
• Execute/Facilitate various UAT's and implementation of system enhancements including issue resolutions
• Support and deliver ad-hoc reports as required 
• Reconcile Claims bordereau's in collaboration with Onshore Claims Handlers and outsourced service provider
• Provide technical guidance and problem solving support to the team

About Team

You'll be joining the Claims Operations team within CorSo Global Central Operations APAC team — a dynamic group sitting at the core of Swiss Re's Direct/Primary insurance operations across the Asia & Pacific region. Our team plays a vital role in managing the P&C Claims Operations deliverables collaborating strongly with onshore claims teams as well as outsourced partners. We combine deep operational expertise with continuous improvement and a pioneering spirit to deliver that make a real difference for our internal and external clients. You'll work in a collaborative, cross-cultural environment where your contributions truly matter.  

  About You

 You're a detail-oriented professional with a strong experience in insurance and P&C Claims operations. You thrive in dynamic environments where you can apply your analytical skills and operational expertise to drive process improvements. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, and you're known for your ability to maintain high-quality standards while meeting deadlines 

 We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration
• At least 10 years of experience in (re)insurance P&C Claims handling
• Strong operational oversight and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal business communication skills, including the ability to work effectively across cultures.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a multifaceted environment
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams or providing subject-matter expertise.

 These are additional nice to haves

• Proficiency in MS Excel, Access DB, or other data analytic tools
• Strong customer focus and service orientation along with strong presentation skills
• Experience working with outsourced service providers
• Knowledge of claims processing systems and workflows

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
