Channel Manager

Hybrid Leeds, United Kingdom

At ENGIE, we are accelerating the energy transition for a cleaner, more sustainable world. Every role we fill contributes directly to that mission — and this one is no exception.

As a TPI Channel Manager, you sit at the heart of our commercial growth strategy. You build the partnerships that bring ENGIE's energy solutions to more businesses across the UK. Your work shapes how we grow, how we compete, and how we lead in the indirect sales market.

Summary of what you will do

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of third party intermediary (TPI) partners to deliver agreed sales margins and volumes.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new TPIs to expand ENGIE's reach across the UK energy market.
  • Negotiate gas and electricity supply contracts for new business and renewals, meeting required hit rates.
  • Build structured development plans with each partner and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Deliver training, market updates, and proposition briefings to strengthen partner capability.
  • Collaborate with internal pricing and commercial teams to drive competitive, renewables-focused offerings.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and commercial forecasting.

What you will bring to the role

  • A track record of new business growth, ideally within the UK energy or utilities sector.
  • Experience managing or developing TPI or indirect sales channels (desirable).
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Solid numerical and analytical capability, with attention to commercial performance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification, plus a valid UK driving licence.
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with a genuine drive for continuous improvement.

Location

This role is based from our Leeds office, where you will have a hybrid working arrangement, combining home working with regular travel to partner and office locations.

What We Offer

  • A stimulating and varied role at the centre of ENGIE's commercial energy business, with real impact on our growth strategy.
  • A diverse range of missions — from partner development and contract negotiation to product training and pipeline management.
  • A friendly and collaborative team environment where ambition and integrity go hand in hand.
  • Genuine flexibility and a hybrid working model that supports a healthy work-life balance.
  • Clear career development pathways within ENGIE's Supply and Energy Management business, backed by structured support and mentoring.
  • Access to ENGIE's wider network, tools, and expertise to help you grow professionally and commercially.
