Bachelor- / Masterthesis in the Field of Battery Component Development (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:
  • Independent familiarization with Li-ion battery cells and their physical properties
  • Research on the current state of the art
  • Development of a parametric thermal model for battery cells
  • Enhancement of the model into an AI-based surrogate model for large-scale simulations
  • Analysis and visualization of measurement data for parameter generation and validation
  • Cross-departmental project coordination and communication
Qualifications:
  • Enrolled Student in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Basic knowledge of Li-ion batteries
  • ideally experience with FEM simulations, e.g. COMSOL
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Analytical and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of initiative, motivation, and team spirit
