Role: SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) Consultant / SAP Digital Payments Consultant
 
Job Description: 
The SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) Consultant is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Digital Payments solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments. The consultant enables secure, compliant, and seamless electronic payment processing by integrating SAP systems with external Payment Service Providers (PSPs), payment gateways, banks, and digital payment platforms.
 
The role involves payment process design, payment gateway integration, troubleshooting payment transactions, supporting business operations, and ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
1.    Implement SAP Digital Payments Add-On (DPA) solutions in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
2.    Configure payment methods, payment card processing, and digital payment workflows.
3.    Design secure integrations between SAP and external Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
4.    Integrate SAP with payment providers such as - Cybersource, Worldpay and Other certified PSPs.
5.    Support end-to-end payment processing architecture and deployment.
6.    Configure payment authorization, capture, refund, void, and settlement processes.
7.    Support tokenization and secure card handling mechanisms.
8.    Troubleshoot integration issues between upstream and downstream systems.
9.    Integration exposure working across SAP IS, SAP DPA, SAP ECC and Adobe e-commerce.
10.    Perform root cause analysis for payment-related incidents.
11.    Coordinate issue resolution with payment gateway providers and banks.
12.    Support payment tokenization and encryption standards.
13.    Participate in audits and compliance reviews.
14.    Coordinate end-to-end test cycles with business teams and payment providers.

Area of Responsibility

Requirement Analysis-Coordinate with business and development teams to understand application-specific requirements relating to module-level needs, data flows, and integration expectations.

Designing-Create high level application architecture designs across application and database layers to ensure alignment with defined design guidelines, including frameworks, patterns, protocols, API design.

Integration assessment and support-Assess and evaluate applicationâ s interaction with existing systems, databases, and infrastructure to validate integration feasibility.

Troubleshooting-Support application testing after deployment and help validate functional behaviour of application design.
