Administrator - Program & Project Management

Job Summary

The position requires Project manager with Infrastructure Projects delivery experience. He/ she should be able to define processes and create WoW for projects in the IT Infrastructure space and looks in-to overall project delivery and develop relationship with external and internal stakeholders. He/ She would be responsible for engaging in early phase of projects and work closely with the internal as well as external customer teams on Projects delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities  Must have experience in project management of Infrastructure projects  Monitors the progress of all projects and deliverables  Owns and is accountable for scope, effort, budget and delivery  Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with customer / Business Units and can effectively manage all the stakeholders on either side.  Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan.  Managing and controlling project deliverables in line with the project plan.  Managing project issues and escalating where necessary.  Resolving cross-functional issues at project level.  Monitoring project progress and performance.  Providing status reports to the project stakeholders.  Liaises with different teams and update progress to Customer and HCL senior management.  Creating and maintaining project schedules for projects.  Capturing and refining requirements  Translating requirements into a project schedule and plan/approach  Reporting on weekly and ad-hoc basis on project status  Creating and maintaining the project budgets in line with standards  Chasing assigned resources to complete their tasks when assigned  Maintaining standard project management documentation  Chairing project meetings and taking minutes at these meetings  Creates, Contributes and Implements the best practices  Managing and leading the project team.  Managing co-ordination of all the stakeholders.

Skill Requirements

Mandatory Skills  Should have managed Infrastructure Projects independently.  Must have handled client management, transition, transformation and migration of projects  Understanding of contracts and bid management through to development of SOW’s.  Manages conflict constructively, can identify areas of improvement in team thinking.  Should have good analytical skills and eyes of detail, assess risk thoroughly and understands cause & effect systems.  Knowledge and experience of working on diverse business models and team models with their pros and cons  Exceptional Hands on with MS project, MS Excel and familiarity with other Project Management Tools
