Harlow is led by a high-performing Venue Manager who is progressing toward a larger opportunity within Australian Venue Co.

For the right person, this role may also provide a structured succession pathway, including the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Venue Manager, gain a hands-on induction to the venue and develop toward future Venue Manager responsibilities.

We’re open to hearing from experienced Venue Managers as well as exceptional senior Assistant Venue Managers who are ready to take the next step.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the day-to-day operation of Harlow across busy late-night and peak-trading periods.
• Build, coach and develop a high-performing hospitality team.
• Drive beverage sales, service standards, labour performance and venue profitability.
• Create an engaging, safe and energetic guest experience.
• Maintain strong operational standards across compliance, licensing, WHS and responsible service.
• Work closely with the Operations team to identify opportunities and deliver venue initiatives.
• Develop the Assistant Venue Manager and broader leadership team.
• Build strong relationships with staff, guests, suppliers and the Richmond community.
• Lead the venue through its next stage of growth and performance.

Australian Venue Co. is looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the team, drive performance and build on the venue’s success.

About you

You will be an experienced Venue Manager, General Manager or senior Assistant Venue Manager with a strong background in:

• Late-night, bar, nightclub or entertainment venues.
• Beverage-led operations and high-volume trading.
• Managing busy weekend and evening services.
• Leading large, diverse hospitality teams.
• Driving sales, wage control and venue performance.
• Creating strong team culture and developing future leaders.
• Managing compliance, licensing and responsible service requirements.

You’ll be commercially minded, highly visible on the floor and confident making decisions in a fast-paced environment. You’ll know how to lead with energy, hold high standards and keep the team focused when the venue is at its busiest.
