The role includes regular physical exertion; regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling 35–50 pounds; climbing tall ladders; and working underground with the water cistern system. Work may involve infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements, occasional travel with overnight stays within Arizona and elsewhere in the United States, and occasional long hours, weekends, and holidays. TNC youth safety training is completed within the first 30 days of employment and annually thereafter.
