Total Rewards Lead - Indonesia
Responsibilites :
- Maintain the competitiveness and regulatory compliance of our compensation, benefit, and pension programs by proactively monitoring, analyzing, and identifying gaps to market/regulations, and recommend practical and innovative solutions to drive our competitive positioning.
- Keep abreast of the latest market and regulatory developments, maintain a strong network of industry contacts and participate in relevant third-party reward surveys to gather quality data and market intelligence for benchmarking.
- Drive and deliver end-to-end annual and mid-year compensation review activities at the local level, including the provision of compensation guidelines, gap to the market report, data integrity audit, pool management, in-cycle recommendation audits, country reporting, manual adjustments, and issuance of letters.
- Gather information related to compensation, benefit, and pension costs for global and local board reporting. Prepare benefits budget and forecasts for financial reporting.
- Review benefits vendor and insurance contracts; negotiate renewals for the company, including reviewing benefits administration SLA reports and identify areas of improvement.
- Develop pulse surveys to gather employee feedback on benefit programs.
- Analyse and synthesize the findings, and recommend enhancements to improve employee satisfaction, within budget and cost trajectory.
- Be an advisor to HRPs as the local subject matter expert on Rewards matters. Collaborate with HRPs to engage and get consensus from the local leadership team and key partners.
- Lead local rewards projects and participate in global projects as well as a bridge between regional practices and local market norms / regulatory requirements.
Requirement :
- A minimum of 10 years relevant business experience as a Rewards practitioner in large, multinational insurance or other financial services organizations.
- University degree or equivalent work experience. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or Statistics field, preferred.
- Consulting experience would be an asset.
- Solid understanding of Workday and WTW surveys and job evaluation methodology.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory regimes, specifically, tax and employment law, compensation and benefits regulation, and how they impact rewards programs.
- A seasoned technical specialist, with expertise in direct compensation, incentive plans, and, group insurance and retirement benefits. Demonstrated ability to develop large-scale and department-specific compensation and incentive programs.
- Excellent English written and verbal presentation skills in presenting to senior executives. The ability to synthesize technical material into easily understood language.
- Meticulous and numbers-sensitive, but able to think conceptually and exercise flexibility and judgment in assessing business issues in a constantly evolving dynamic environment.
- Cultural awareness and sensitivity to local customs, practices, and ways of doing business.
- Excellent consulting, listening, influencing, and negotiating skills. Ability to build relationships, act as a trusted advisor to all levels within the organization, impact and influence the direction of the organization and individuals.
- Excellent analytical skills, project management, and vendor management experience
