Execute required customizations, apply configuration changes across multiple modules within the existing system and support implementation of business processes.

Consultant Engagement Request – CMDB Data Quality Consultant C1 - 9.5 YRS - 15 YRS

Location :Only Pune ;WO rate :300k including markup 

Mission

Support the assessment and improvement of data quality across key ServiceNow CMDB classes. The consultant will work with class owners and stakeholders to define data quality requirements, validation rules, reporting specifications, and a sustainable governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess key CMDB classes and their data quality.
• Analyze data quality issues, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct workshops with CMDB class owners and stakeholders.
• Define and document data validation and quality rules.
• Design a CMDB Data Quality Framework, including KPIs, ownership, monitoring, and governance processes.
• Define requirements for automated controls, reports, and dashboards.
• Support implementation of data quality controls and governance practices.

Deliverables

• CMDB data quality assessment.
• Data quality rule catalogue for key classes.
• CMDB Data Quality Framework and governance model.
• Specifications for reports and dashboards.
• Recommendations for monitoring and remediation processes.

Required Skills

• Strong IT infrastructure and service management background.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow CMDB architecture, data model, governance, and class structure.
• Hands-on experience defining and implementing CMDB data quality controls, validation rules, and data quality frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and improving the quality of discovered CMDB data.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues across large IT datasets.
• Understanding of relational databases, data structures, and SQL.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
• Experience designing data quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
