Job Summary

HCLTech is looking for an accomplished ServiceNow Automation & Integration Lead for its Noida location. This is a critical technology role responsible for engineering, operational stability, security, service resilience and continuous improvement across a complex enterprise environment. The role requires deep hands-on expertise, disciplined change execution, strong troubleshooting capability and effective collaboration with infrastructure, application, security, service-management and vendor teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and extend ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, CMDB/CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Build Flow Designer flows/subflows, IntegrationHub spokes, Orchestration, catalog items/workflows, approvals, notifications and reusable automation components.
• Develop with JavaScript and Glide APIs, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies/actions, ACLs, scheduled jobs and scoped applications.
• Implement REST/SOAP integrations, MID Server patterns, OAuth, webhooks, import sets/transform maps and integrations with monitoring, identity and cloud platforms.

Apply source control, update-set/application-repository governance, ATF, code review, CI/CD, upgrade testing, performance tuning, security and data-quality controls

• Own technical design and delivery of ServiceNow automation across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management.
• Build governed Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, catalog, approval, notification and orchestration solutions.
• Develop robust scoped applications and server/client logic using JavaScript, Glide APIs, ACLs and platform configuration practices.
• Design reliable REST/SOAP, MID Server, OAuth, webhook, import-set and monitoring/cloud/identity integrations.
• Lead code review, ATF, source control, release governance, upgrade testing, performance tuning and measurable automation benefits.

DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS (GOOD TO HAVE)

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• Certified Application Developer
• Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management
• relevant CIS certification for Discovery, Service Mapping or Event Management
• IntegrationHub and Flow Designer micro-certifications
• ITIL 4 Foundation.

PROFICIENCY EXPECTATIONS

Competent (L3): Independently develop and test standard workflows, scripts, catalog items and integrations; resolve defects and maintain technical documentation.

Proficient (L4): Own solution architecture and automation roadmap, design complex integrations, govern security/code quality/releases, lead upgrades and mentor developers while tracking business benefits.
