JAVA Microservices Developer

Location: Pune

Experience Required: 7+ years

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced JAVA Backend Developer to join our dynamic Technology Services team within Wipro Technologies' Industry Cloud & Digital sector. This role plays a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative backend solutions that support large-scale, cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks, strong coding practices, and a passion for creating high-quality, scalable software systems.

• Core Responsibilities:
  • Develop robust, efficient, and scalable APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks, ensuring seamless integration across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement microservices architectures that optimize flexibility and maintainability in cloud environments, particularly on Cloud Foundry.
  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and conduct API testing using tools such as Postman and SoapUI; leverage BDD frameworks like Cucumber to ensure behavior-driven development alignment.
  • Continuously monitor, troubleshoot, and debug complex application and integration challenges, utilizing analytical skills to maintain optimum system performance.
  • Engage actively in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing Jenkins, Bitbucket, Git, and related tools to automate testing, builds, and deployments.
  • Support and maintain production-level applications with a focus on uptime and reliability.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose enhancements to improve the system's efficiency and performance.
