The Impact You'll Make

As a Shipping Team Lead, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring products move safely, accurately, and on time from the manufacturing floor to customers. Your leadership will help maintain smooth operations, support customer satisfaction, and drive overall business success.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll coordinate shipping activities, guide a team of shipping professionals, and partner closely with Production, Warehouse, Inventory Control, Quality, and Customer Service teams. Your ability to balance accuracy, efficiency, and safety will directly impact operational performance and customer delivery expectations.

You’ll also have the opportunity to identify process improvements, strengthen team performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that support long-term operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead, coach, and support the shipping team while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and quality.

• Ensure customer orders and finished goods are accurately picked, packed, labeled, documented, and shipped according to requirements and delivery commitments.

• Coordinate daily with Production, Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Quality teams to maintain product flow and resolve inventory, shipment, or scheduling issues.

• Oversee shipping documentation, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking to ensure compliance, accuracy, and on-time delivery performance.

• Drive operational improvements by monitoring key metrics, reducing shipping errors, improving efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in shipping, warehouse, distribution, receiving, or manufacturing operations, including team leadership responsibilities.

• Working knowledge of shipping procedures, inventory control practices, and warehouse operations.

• Experience using SAP and managing shipping documentation such as packing lists, bills of lading, and shipment records.

• Ability to safely operate or oversee the operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment.

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize work and make sound decisions in a manufacturing environment.
