Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, delegating responsibilities, providing oversight, and supporting ongoing professional development
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning solutions, staying current with evolving tax laws and regulations
- Provide consulting services on complex tax matters, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning, and corporate restructuring
- Conduct in-depth tax research to identify planning opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare and review tax returns across entity types — including S-Corps, partnerships, individuals, and corporations — ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws
- Communicate effectively with clients, tax authorities, and other regulatory stakeholders to manage all tax-related matters
- Build and manage strong client relationships, ensuring high-quality, consistent service delivery
- Mentor, train, and develop team members to strengthen technical expertise and support career growth
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- CPA required
- 5+ years of progressive tax experience with demonstrated expertise in corporate tax and tax provisioning
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of tax professionals
- Business-level fluency in Korean (written and spoken) required to serve Korean-speaking clients
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Preferred: Master's degree in Taxation or a related field
