• The Support Sales Assistant is responsible for ensuring a clean, tidy, and shoppable store environment that enhances the customer shopping experience. The role involves driving sales to meet targets by utilizing effective selling techniques and demonstrating strong product knowledge. Success in this role requires attentiveness to customer needs, maintaining product availability and accurate pricing, and contributing to store presentations and events. Collaborating closely with internal teams, the assistant optimizes store operation and supports seamless customer interactions.

Customer Service

• Provide a high level of customer service both internal and external.
• Assist and advise customers in a professional manner regarding product categories.

Product Knowledge

• Actively learn product uses and benefits to effectively advise customers.
• Drive sales through add-on sales and product recommendations.

Receiving Deliveries

• Assist with the receiving and display of goods following approved procedures.
• Ensure products are available for customer purchase promptly.

Ticketing & Pricing

• Comply with in-store procedures regarding pricing and ticketing.
• Prevent loss related to incorrect pricing by ensuring accurate and visible product pricing.

Merchandising

• Apply Merchandising Principles to maintain a corporate image.
• Initiate and maintain a cleaning program for assigned department.
• Ensure the store looks appealing and organized in its product category.

Support in Other Events

• Assist in stock take, new store openings, product and seasonal launches when required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn and apply product knowledge effectively.
• Detail-oriented approach to merchandise handling and store presentation.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Completion of Secondary school education.
• At least 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to manage concrete tasks with focus and precision.
• Familiarity with retail processes and customer service techniques.
