Supply Chain Specialist

On-site Nordborg, Denmark

The Impact You'll Make

As our new Supply Chain Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring a reliable, efficient, and customer-focused supply chain that supports our business goals and customer commitments.

Beyond joining planning and inventory activities, you will help shape the future of our supply chain by participating in improvement projects, supporting strategic initiatives, and contributing to New Product Development (NPD) programs.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of supply chain with operations, project management, and business improvement.

You will work across functions to optimize material flow, strengthen delivery performance, and ensure supply chain readiness for new products and evolving customer needs. Your ability to connect people, processes, and data will help drive operational excellence and long-term business success.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will work across functions and stakeholders to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products from suppliers to customers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead supply planning and inventory management activities to ensure product availability while maintaining healthy inventory levels
  • Partner closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to align supply chain activities with business and customer requirements
  • Monitor supply chain performance, identify risks and opportunities, and translate insights into actions that improve operational and business results
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects, including new product introductions and initiatives that improve daily operations and business performance

Success in this role means consistently delivering high service levels, maintaining balanced inventory, proactively mitigating supply risks, and contributing measurable improvements to supply chain performance.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong supply chain expertise with the ability to lead initiatives, manage stakeholders, and deliver improvements across functions.

Essential qualifications:

  • Experience in supply chain planning, production planning, inventory management, or logistics within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into practical actions and business improvements
  • Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional proficiency in English with strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working in an international organization, participating in continuous improvement initiatives, or supporting new product introduction projects will be considered an advantage.

What You'll Get from Us

At Danfoss, you'll join a collaborative team that values ownership, open communication, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making. You'll work closely with colleagues across Production, Procurement, Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Finance, and Quality while building relationships with manufacturing sites, suppliers, and global supply chain teams.

You'll help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.
