Our team is dedicated to delivering end-to-end software support across all of Dandy’s product lines. We cross system and organizational boundaries to ensure our entire product lifecycle, from ordering to manufacturing to support, wows our customers.

We are looking for motivated Software Engineering Interns to join our team. Our engineers have a high level of ownership, and you will have the opportunity to dive into unfamiliar code bases, debug real-world processes, and help launch novel-to-industry products.

What You’ll Do

As a Software Engineering Intern at Dandy, you will:

• Contribute to building and maintaining core ordering flows used by our end customers every day.

• Work across any layer of the stack (frontend, backend, infra, data) to help ship end-to-end product experiences.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, operations teams, and CAD designers to support the launch of innovative new products.

• Dig in and learn the intricacies of the dental restoratives market—you will know more about dentures than you ever imagined!

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing an MS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

• Foundational experience in web development with an eagerness to work in a production TypeScript, React, and GraphQL environment.

• A high level of autonomy, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to comfortably navigate ambiguity and unfamiliar areas of a codebase.

• Familiarity with our specific stack (NestJS, TypeORM, Electron) is a bonus, but not required.

• Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the Dandy office in New York City, 3x days per week.
