Would you like to bring your knowledge of P roduct C ompliance , IT systems, and Master

data into use to certify that Hamamatsu Phot o nics products are safe and can be sold into
our markets world - wide?

Get hands - on experience within our Product E n gineering Department. Y ou will be part of the
Product Compliance team which strive s to secure the product compliance data that is needed
to operate in our strategic markets and to support development projects with compliance
information that verify t he safety of our new products .

In this role, we are looking for a resourceful and curious student who can assist in our data
enrichment work and continuous improvement of product compliance p rocesses and tools. It is
a part - time position (15 to 20 hours per week on average). We will be flexible about working
hours to fit your classes and exams.

Your responsibilities
Not all days will be the same, and as you gain expertise and a broader knowledge of things, your tasks will expand. Examples of tasks are:

• Product Compliance

• Work with Global Product Compliance regulations

• Support Global Market Access

• Conduct r isk assessment and safety concept review

• Assist in gathering product compliance and trade compliance information from   manufacturers .

• Assist in uploading data to our Product Lifecycle Management system .

• Validat ing data (ROHS, REACH , Conflict minerals etc. )

• Work with data collection for P ackaging and Waste regulation

• Streamline Compliance processes
   

Your qualifications
You are currently enrolled in a study program related to Engineering, Sustainability , Product
D evelopment in at least your second semester.

• Ability to analyze complex issues and find simple solutions.

• General IT qualifications and a willingness to learn more.

• Structured and analytical approach.

• Data oriented mindset.

• Satisfaction of finalizing tasks and delivering quality work.

• Clear and concise documentation skills.

• Understanding of Product Compliance is a requirement .

• Fluency in English (verbal and written).

• Excel and PowerPoint skills
