Strategy & Operations, Clinical Operations
Prosper Health is on a mission to make life happier and healthier for autistic and neurodivergent adults.
Despite autism diagnoses increasing more than 5x in the past 25 years, autistic adults have been systematically overlooked. This has led to extremely poor outcomes, including high rates of co-occurring mental health conditions and a lower life expectancy. Prosper is here to change that.
We deliver specialized mental health services for autistic adults, covered by insurance. We've helped tens of thousands of people receive an autism diagnosis for the first time, work with neurodivergent-affirming therapists, and find belonging through community. Our outcomes meaningfully outperform traditional care for autistic adults, with substantially greater improvements in mood, anxiety, and quality of life.
Prosper is growing 3x year over year and are at mid-double-digit millions in run-rate revenue, with thousands of active clients and 400+ clinicians. We're a high-ownership, mission-driven team, building something that has never existed for autistic and neurodivergent adults.
About the Role
As a member of our Strategy & Operations team in Clinical Operations, you’ll be the bridge between clinical expertise and operational execution. You’ll own our highest-priority therapy initiatives from start to finish, turning clinical ideas into programs that clinicians use every day. You’ll start with our care pathways and take what works for a handful of clinicians to hundreds. You’ll work closely with our Therapy Strategy and Operations Lead to execute our clinical strategy and quality roadmap, build relationships with our therapists, and partner with clinical leaders, Product and Engineering to make every launch happen.
You’ll thrive here if you’re fascinated by what makes healthcare work. You get curious when some clients improve and others don’t, and you want to know why. You’re comfortable going deep enough into clinical work to ask good questions, while knowing when to defer to clinicians. You likely bring a mix of consulting or professional services experience and hands-on operating experience, and you’re excited to use it to build something new in a part of healthcare that’s long been overlooked. Most of all, you want your work to directly change the care people receive.
There’s also real room to grow. This is an early role on a growing team, and your scope will grow with you. You’ll start by owning the launch of our care pathways and build from there to bigger, more ambiguous projects across therapy quality and our next big bets.
Success in this role means:
- Most Prosper clients are receiving care through a structured pathway
- Clinicians have the resources, training, and support they need to use pathways well
- Our notes and treatment plans consistently meet a clear quality standard
- Each launch takes less effort than the last, and Product and Engineering never wait on Clinical Operations to move forward
Key Responsibilities
- Launch our care pathways end-to-end. Turn clinical content from our clinical leaders into clinician-ready materials for use in session. Own the launch logistics, train and support clinicians, and track results to decide when to open the next wave.
- Make every launch better than the last. Partner with Product and Engineering to improve the pathways product and process so we can scale quickly.
- Build our quality systems. Partner with clinical leadership to define what a high-quality note and treatment plan look like. Work with Product and Engineering to build and run a review system that lets clinical reviewers give feedback, then roll it out to all therapists.
- Drive our next big bets. Own execution on other roadmap priorities, such as expanding AI-supported documentation and between-session support.
About You
- 2–4 years of experience, ideally about 1–2 years in consulting, banking or professional services plus about 1–2 years in an operations role, ideally at a high-growth startup. Healthcare experience, especially with providers or payers, is a plus.
- Ownership. You own outcomes, not just tasks. You’ve driven a project or launch end-to-end: you set the plan, track dependencies, spot slips early, and adjust without being told.
- Clinician influence. You understand clinicians’ pain points and use them to build strong partnerships. You earn buy-in by listening, not by authority.
- Bias to action. You move as soon as there’s enough signal to act, and you’d rather put a solution into practice than analyze forever.
- First-principles thinker. You break problems into clear pieces and tackle the highest-impact ones first. You use good judgment about which calls are yours to make and which need clinical input or escalation.
- Find a way. You’re scrappy and determined. You don’t wait for perfect tools or permission, and you keep pushing when things get messy.
- Learning mindset. You’re curious, you teach yourself new tools, you ask good questions about clinical workflows, and you look for feedback and act on it.
