About the Team

You'll join the Value Management team within Healthcare. This team acts as a strategic partner to Workday's healthcare customers, helping them realize lasting value from their investment and chart their path forward with AI. The team works closely with sales and account teams to shape account strategy and evolves alongside customers as their priorities change.
This role gives you the opportunity to work with some of the most influential healthcare organizations in the world, helping shape how they use AI to transform their business.

About the Role

As a Value Manager on our Healthcare team, you help customers move from a single investment decision to continuous, measurable outcomes. You partner with healthcare organizations to define what business impact looks like, help them activate and consume what they've purchased, and demonstrate the results over time — so the value of their Workday investment compounds rather than peaking at signature.

This experience may come from management consulting, value engineering or value management, transformation and PMO roles inside healthcare organizations, customer success roles with a quantified outcomes mandate, or in-house strategy and finance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Guiding healthcare customers through ongoing outcomes realization, so the impact of their Workday investment grows over time rather than being tied to a single decision point
  • Advising on flex credit adoption and consumption-based models, helping customers activate what they've bought and scale their use of Workday with confidence
  • Building and defending quantified business outcomes with customer stakeholders — baselines, measures, and demonstrated results
  • Engaging healthcare executives to align on a shared direction for their Workday investment, in partnership with the account team
  • Partnering across Sales, Solution Consulting, Customer Success, and Managing Partners to bring one coherent value approach to the customer
  • Contributing to the healthcare value practice — reusable models, points of view on where healthcare and AI are headed, and the IP that makes this work repeatable

At the Senior level, you additionally:

  • Own the outcomes strategy for a portfolio of our most complex healthcare accounts, setting the approach where no playbook exists yet
  • Lead cross-functional engagements spanning post-sale adoption, consumption, and executive alignment
  • Mentor other Value Managers and raise the quality bar on how the team works

About You

Basic Qualifications — Value Manager

  • 5+ years of experience defining, quantifying, and tracking business outcomes from enterprise technology investments
  • 3+ years of that experience in healthcare — providers, payers, or healthcare services organizations

Basic Qualifications — Senior Value Manager

  • 8+ years of experience defining, quantifying, and tracking business outcomes from enterprise technology investments, including ownership of the value approach across a portfolio of accounts or engagements
  • 5+ years of that experience in healthcare — providers, payers, or healthcare services organizations

Other Qualifications

  • Experience measuring and reporting realized outcomes after implementation — not only projected value at the point of decision
  • Experience with consumption-based, usage-based, or other non-seat-based commercial models — helping customers build the internal case for new spend, forecast usage, and stay aligned as the economics change
  • Understanding of how customers plan, govern, and scale their consumption of AI or platform capabilities over time
  • Experience with enterprise HCM, ERP, or financial systems and the operational realities of running them in a healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated executive presence — clear, confident communication with senior leaders in high-stakes conversations
  • Comfortable building the approach, not just running it — this team is defining a new motion, and we want people who want to help shape it
  • Master's degree preferred

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.

Pursuant to applicable Fair Chance law, Workday will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
