Sr Technical Program Manager, Data
About our Company
At Hyperscience, we believe that behind every document is a meaningful human experience, whether that’s a family applying for their mortgage, a patient waiting for insurance coverage, or a student waiting for their visa to study abroad. However, for far too long, organizations have relied on outdated technology and manual processes to handle these processes, driving up costs, slowing down decisions, and frustrating customers.
As a distinguished leader in its market category, including a back to back Leader in the 2025 & 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Document Processing Solutions and several other leading industry analyst reports, our technology flips the script with an AI platform that reads, understands, and processes documents at massive scale—automatically.
The Hyperscience Hypercell platform unlocks the value of an organization’s back office data through the automation of end-to-end processes, and transforms complex documents into LLM and RAG-ready data to power new enterprise GenAI experiences. This enables organizations to transform manual, siloed processes into a strategic advantage, resulting in a faster path to decisions, actions, and revenue; positive and engaging customer, public, and patient experiences; and dramatic increases in productivity.
Leading organizations including American Express, Charles Schwab, HM Revenue and Customs, Mars, Stryker, The United States Social Security Administration, The United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and several others use the Hypercell platform to achieve a faster path to decisions, dramatic increases in productivity, and unparalleled business impact.
Hyperscience is funded by top tier investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Battery, FirstMark, Stripes, and Tiger Global.

Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate across Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Operations to resolve technical dependencies and drive timely delivery without direct reporting lines.
Product & Technical Scoping: Author detailed technical requirements, user stories, and execution roadmaps that translate complex business needs into deliverable milestones.
Data Architecture & Reliability: Partner with engineering teams to scale pipeline reliability, improve data event streaming, and establish clear service level agreements.
Governance & Standardization: Establish reliable data governance frameworks, unified data definitions, and write requirements for automated anomaly detection.
Delivery Operations: Implement transparent intake processes and milestone tracking, conduct team meetings and regular stakeholder updates to identify risks early and ensure predictable delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Program Experience: Demonstrate 5 -8 years of technical program management experience successfully delivering complex, multi-team data programs in high-growth technology environments.
Hands-On Data Literacy: Write proficient SQL queries independently to explore schemas, validate datasets, and investigate anomalies without waiting on engineering support.
Modern Data Stack Knowledge: Apply foundational understanding of modern cloud data architectures, including tools like Snowflake, dbt, or Fivetran.
AI Tool Fluency: Utilize AI-assisted developer utilities, such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot, to accelerate analytical workflows and technical problem-solving.
Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both executive leaders and software engineers while steering cross-functional alignment.
Educational Foundation: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Qualifications:
Product Management Exposure: Bring practical experience conducting customer discovery, authoring requirement documents, and developing multi-quarter product roadmaps.
Data Engineering Background: Leverage past experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence prior to technical program management.
Python Proficiency: Ability to conduct exploratory analyses and lightweight automation workflows using Python.
Governance Expertise: Navigate regulatory compliance, data privacy standards, and enterprise data cataloging programs.
Industry Certifications: Hold recognized professional credentials such as PMP, PMI-ACP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, or Snowflake SnowPro.
