About the Position

About the team: The Senior Quality Supervisor provides leadership and oversight to ensure product quality and drive continuous improvement while fostering a strong quality culture focused on meeting customer expectations and achieving customer satisfaction.

What you can look forward to as the Senior Quality Supervisor:

• Support and comply with established Company Corporate Principles, goals, automotive quality requirements, and customer specifications.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and product quality to ensure capability, adequacy, and compliance with internal and customer requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and retain quality documentation and procedures, including risk analyses, product audits, recalls, field returns, repairs, complaints, scrap, rework, and lessons learned.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and measurement tools, and ensure engineering changes conform to applicable quality standards.
• Apply quality tools, root cause analysis, corrective/preventive actions, problem-solving, and lean manufacturing techniques to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the proper application of quality systems and tools on the manufacturing floor, including assembly-line quality, Dock Audit activities, and escalation of issues needed to protect internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other departments, maintaining productive working relationships and supporting the timely completion of quality-related activities.
• Lead and develop department personnel, including hiring, training, work assignment, performance management, coaching, corrective/disciplinary actions, employee development and qualifications, performance reviews, step progressions, and timely approval of ADP e-time records.

Your Profile as Senior Quality Supervisor:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of progressive experience
• Proficient computer skills, including strong Microsoft Office and Excel capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with strong English-language competency.
• Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide and support team members.
• Advanced knowledge of Quality Engineering concepts, principles, practices, procedures, and quality systems such as QS9000.
• Strong working knowledge of product lines and engineering techniques and principles applicable to manufacturing and quality.
• In-depth knowledge of measurement equipment and standard shop measurement tools, including CMMs, surface measurement equipment, calipers, and micrometers, with the ability to train others in their proper use.
