Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Spa Therapist to join our wellness team in Udaipur, India. In this role, you will deliver exceptional spa treatments and personalized wellness experiences to our valued guests and members. You will be the face of our spa, embodying our commitment to relaxation, rejuvenation, and holistic well-being. Working collaboratively with our spa and hotel departments, you will maintain the highest standards of service while staying current with the latest wellness trends and treatment protocols. • Perform a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body treatments, and other wellness therapies in a safe, professional, and hygienic manner
• Conduct thorough consultations with guests and members to understand their needs, preferences, and any health considerations before each treatment
• Customize treatment plans and recommend appropriate therapies and aftercare products based on individual client requirements
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all spa treatments, products, techniques, and facility amenities to provide informed recommendations
• Educate guests on treatment benefits and retail spa products, actively promoting wellness solutions and driving product sales
• Maintain meticulous organization of treatment rooms, ensuring all equipment, linens, and supplies are clean, well-stocked, and readily accessible
• Manage inventory levels of spa products and supplies, reporting shortages and maintaining orderly storage systems
• Uphold strict health, safety, and sanitation protocols at all times, including proper hygiene practices and equipment sterilization
• Arrive punctually for all scheduled appointments and thoroughly review client information before and after each service
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by maintaining a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor with all guests and colleagues
• Collaborate with spa reception, thermal areas, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Stay informed about emerging wellness trends, new treatment techniques, and industry best practices through continuous professional development
• Report any potential hazards, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately to management
• Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and fostering an inclusive, collaborative workplace culture

Qualifications

**Essential**

• Current professional spa therapy license or certification valid in India
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in spa therapy or related wellness discipline
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a spa therapist in a spa or wellness facility
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and contraindications related to spa treatments
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build positive client relationships
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform treatments safely and effectively
• Commitment to maintaining impeccable personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times
• Thorough understanding of health, safety, and sanitation protocols specific to spa environments
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and service quality
• Passion for wellness, holistic health, and creating transformative guest experiences
• Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including evenings and weekends as needed

**Preferred**

• Previous experience working in a luxury spa, resort, or five-star hospitality environment
• Knowledge of Ayurvedic treatments or traditional Indian wellness therapies
• Experience with spa management software or booking systems
• Certification in specialized treatments such as hot stone therapy, aromatherapy, or reflexology
• Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets for spa retail products
• Experience in a multicultural or international hospitality setting
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
