Job Summary : Key Skills: OpenShift Virtualization VMware Linux & Windows Server Management Networking Fundamentals Storage Systems (PV, PVC) Bare Metal Server Operations VM Lifecycle Management (V2V, P2V) Monitoring Tools: Prometheus, Grafana ITIL Processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) Documentation & Collaboration Job Responsibilities: OpenShift Virtualization: Install, maintain, and operate OpenShift Virtualization environments. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve OpenShift-related issues to ensure high availability and performance. IT Process Management: Follow ITIL-based processes for incident, change, and problem management. Windows Server Management: Handle patching and administration of Windows servers. Networking: Apply strong understanding of networking principles to support infrastructure. Storage Management: Manage storage systems and OpenShift storage configurations (PV, PVC). Bare Metal Servers: Perform installation, rack/stack, and decommissioning of servers (e.g., DELL, HP ProLiant). VM Management: Deploy, operate, migrate (V2V, P2V), and decommission virtual machines in OpenShift and VMware. Shift Flexibility: Provide 24/7 support through rotational and night shifts. Documentation: Maintain detailed records of configurations, systems, and operational procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional IT teams to ensure seamless operations. Monitoring: Use Prometheus and Grafana for proactive system and security monitoring.
