What We Do The Title Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for title agents who order title search products and services through the company. This role provides responsive, high-quality customer service by assisting agents with their search orders, answering questions, providing status updates, and coordinating with internal teams, searchers, and other partners to help ensure requests are completed accurately and timely.
The Title Coordinator monitors title search orders throughout the production process, follows up on outstanding items, obtains necessary title documents, communicates anticipated completion times, assists in resolving issues or delays, and supports rush, escalated or time-sensitive requests.
With a strong focus on the title agent experience, the Title Coordinator works collaboratively with First American title agents, as well as internal partners (e.g. FA production team, agency sales representatives, company underwriters) to ensure agents receive timely, accurate, and professional service from the time a search is ordered through completion.

What You'll Do:
- Serve as a point of contact regarding the search product providing subject matter expertise to resolve escalated issues arising from search discrepancies.
- Research property details and look for back title on orders to confirm accuracy; coordinate with clients and searchers to reconcile discrepancies.
- Keeps responsible parties abreast of status or issues regarding title orders; direct questions to responsible parties.
- May participate in business development activities to maintain existing clients and acquire new clients.
- Proactively contacts vendors to ensure timely delivery of completed searches, escalate past due search requests, address issues with completed searches, and keep system updated.
- May assist offshore team by answering questions and resolving escalated issues.
- Utilizes company operating systems to coordinate/manage workflow, produce products and respond to customer requests.

- Strong knowledge of company and/or client operating systems
- High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- 4+ years’ experience in escrow/title or curative lender role
- HUD or closing experience is a plus
