Job Summary
Own voice/SBC architecture, high-severity telephony incidents and carrier/vendor escalation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead advanced SIP, SBC, media, carrier and ACS problem resolution and RCA.
- Own SBC HA/DR design, capacity, upgrades, security and architecture governance.
- Review high-risk telephony changes, dial plans, certificates and routing design.
- Lead carrier and SBC-vendor escalations and validate corrective actions.
- Mentor L2 engineers and establish voice monitoring and diagnostic standards.
Skill Requirements
- Advanced Ribbon SBC architecture, SIP engineering, media security and HA/DR.
- ACS/Teams voice architecture, carrier interconnects and regulatory awareness.
- Packet/SIP analysis, capacity, resilience and complex RCA.
- Technical leadership, vendor governance and customer communication.
Other Requirements
- Advanced SBC vendor and Teams Voice certifications preferred.
- Experience with large outbound contact-center voice estates.
