Senior Technical Specialist

Job Summary

Provide L3 production support and technical leadership for Teradata Data Warehouse, ETL, and Analytics platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Teradata databases, workloads, performance, data integration, and reporting.
Monitor system health, query performance, batch processing, data loads, and platform availability.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent resolution of critical production incidents and recurring issues.
Lead performance tuning, workload management, capacity planning, and database optimization initiatives.
Support data warehousing, ETL processes, data reconciliation, and enterprise reporting requirements.
Manage deployments, release activities, environment administration, security, and governance controls.
Collaborate with business, application, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure operational stability and service excellence.
Strong expertise in Teradata, SQL, Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Workload Management (TASM), Data Warehousing, ETL, and Unix/Linux environments.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, incident management, and mentoring skills with experience supporting mission-critical enterprise data platforms.
Preferred: Teradata Vantage, Informatica/DataStage, Cloud Data Platforms (AWS), ITIL Processes, Scheduling Tools, and Large-Scale Data Warehouse Support.
