About the Role

As a Quality Engineer (D9), you will play a critical role in supporting product quality and customer experience by leading technical investigations, failure analysis activities, and quality improvement initiatives. This position is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex technical problems and working within a global organization.

Global Collaboration

A key aspect of this role is partnering closely with overseas headquarters and global engineering teams. You will communicate technical findings in English, present investigation results, participate in cross-functional reviews, influence corrective actions, and support global quality improvement projects. You will act as the primary technical bridge between the Japan market and international engineering stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct product failure analysis and root cause investigations.

·       Evaluate returned and repaired products to identify quality trends.

·       Prepare professional technical reports and executive summaries.

·       Drive corrective and preventive actions with global teams.

·       Represent Japan Quality in meetings with overseas headquarters.

·       Support field quality, reliability, and customer issue escalation activities.

·       Collaborate with Product Development, Service, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

Required Qualifications

·       Experience in Quality Engineering, Product Development, Failure Analysis, Service Engineering, Repair Engineering, or Technical Support.

·       Knowledge of electrical and electronic products.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Business-level English communication skills.
