Senior Physician Liaison - Dallas–Fort Worth
About Clarity Pediatrics
Clarity Pediatrics is reimagining pediatric chronic care, starting with ADHD. Nearly 10% of children in the US are diagnosed with ADHD, and for parents, finding the right care can feel impossible. We're building a virtual pediatric ADHD clinic that delivers trusted, science-backed care to all families, and it's working. We have strong product-market fit, a growing patient base, and a clear path to expanding into other common chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, and obesity.
Our leadership team has deep healthcare expertise. Our CEO has led two startups to more than $100M in ARR and profitability. Our Chief Medical Officer trained at UCSF and Stanford and previously built specialty care services at Kaiser Permanente. Clarity is female-led: our CEO, Head of Engineering, and product leadership are all women building a company where diverse perspectives drive better care and better technology.
We've raised $14.5M in Series A capital from top VCs who have backed category-defining health-tech companies like One Medical, Hims, Spring Health, Cityblock, Honor, and Tia.
The role
Texas is where we want to invest and experiment most aggressively right now. We’re hiring a Senior Physician Liaison for Dallas–Fort Worth to own the market and to help us build the liaison team that follows. You’ll run lead on the ground provider partnerships here.
This is a field job. You’ll be out four to five days a week in clinics, at the front desk, at lunches, and in hallways between patients. You’ll work a target list of pediatric practices, get past the door, get in front of the physician, and give them a reason to send us their next patient with anxiety, ADHD, or obesity.
What makes this a senior role is the work beyond your own territory. You’ll have real input into which practices belong on the target list and why, using referral patterns, payer mix, and what you are seeing on the ground. You’ll help us hire liaisons in our other markets by sourcing candidates, interviewing, taking finalists into the field, and getting new reps productive once they start. For someone who performs here, the path to managing a team of liaisons is a short one.
We have a strong playbook from California and you’ll get it on day one. Clinical presentations with our own physicians activate new providers better than almost anything else we do. Layering touches inside a tight window is what makes a clinic activate. Expect the playbook to change as we learn Texas. The target list, the pitch, and the sequence will all move, and we want someone who treats that as normal and tells us straight what they are seeing in the field.
You’ll report to our Head of GTM today, and to our Growth General Manager once that role is in seat. You and the GM will experiment to continuously improve our growth playbook for new markets.
What success looks like in year one:
200 referring clinics across Dallas–Fort Worth, actively sending patients
Hundreds of individual referring providers inside those clinics
Referral volume growing quarter over quarter across your territory
Relationships stable enough that a clinic keeps referring when you’re not standing in the lobby
Liaisons hired into other Texas markets with your help, ramping on a playbook you helped write
What you’ll own
Activate new clinics Work a target list across Dallas and Fort Worth. Prospect cold, get past the front desk, book the meeting, and turn practices into referring partners. Run the territory like it’s your own book of business.
Run in-services Get in front of a whole practice, physicians and staff together, and teach them what Clarity treats, who to send, and how to send them. You deliver these yourself.
Grow the clinics you win The first referral is the start of the account. Build relationships with physicians, medical assistants, office managers, and referral coordinators until Clarity is the default place they send these patients.
Decide who we call on Help us build and prioritize the target list rather than working someone else’s. Use referral patterns, practice size, payer mix, and your own read of the market to tell us which practices deserve the most touches, which deserve a physician-led presentation, and which we should drop.
Set up clinical presentations Find the practices worth a physician-led presentation, get them scheduled, and get our medical advisors and clinicians in the room. You build the opportunity, they deliver the content.
Help us build the liaison team Source and refer candidates, sit in on interviews, take finalists into the field for a ride-along, and give us a real opinion on whether they can do this job. Once they’re hired, help them ramp by sharing your accounts, your approach at the front desk, and your in-service.
Document your work Log every account, contact, visit, and outcome in the CRM the same day it happens, following our field team’s conventions. Keep account records current, including who the referring providers are, where each practice stands, and what the next step is. Your records are how we decide where to spend the next dollar and the next rep, so they need to be complete and accurate rather than close enough.
Bring the market back to the team You’ll have a better read than anyone here on what lands with a Texas pediatrician. Bring it back on a regular cadence: what’s working, what objections you’re hearing, which materials fall flat, and what we should change. In a new market, why a clinic said no is worth as much to us as the ones that said yes.
What we’re looking for
5+ years in healthcare sales or provider relations You’ve carried a territory, called on physician practices, and grown referrals. Pediatrics or behavioral health is a plus. A track record of exceeding quota in a competitive market is what we will look for first.
You’ve built a territory from a standing start You’ve opened a market or launched a new product or service, and you can talk through how you sequenced it and what you’d do differently.
A clinical background is a real advantage If you are a nurse, an MA, or came up on the care delivery side and moved into sales, you will be more credible in these rooms and we will weight that heavily.
Ready to lead You’ve trained, mentored, or managed reps before, or you’re clearly ready to. You want to build a team and you’re willing to keep carrying a bag while you do it.
You work fast and you carry a lot at once You’d rather get through twenty practices than perfect one. Hearing no all week doesn’t wear you down.
You can walk into a room cold The front desk is the hardest door in this job. It is a learnable skill, but you have to want to do it.
You can present to a full practice In-services mean standing in front of a room of physicians and staff and holding their attention for fifteen minutes.
You’re disciplined about documentation You keep a CRM current without being asked, and you’ve worked in Salesforce, Zoho, or something like them.
You learn fast and take coaching We’ll teach you the clinical material and the playbook. You need to pick it up quickly, run it the way we ask, and tell us where it breaks.
Based in Dallas–Fort Worth Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. You’ll be driving the metroplex every day, with occasional travel to our other Texas markets and one to three trips a year to the SF Bay Area for onboarding and team on-sites.
