Position: Senior Java Engineer Job Description:

Role: Fullstack Java Engineer

Location: Ahmedabad, Pune, Indore

Years of Experience: 8+ Years
Primary: Java 17, Spring boot Microservices, JUnit, Mockito, Maven, Mysql

Secondary: AWS S3, AWS IOT, Aws Cloud watch, Kibana, MQTT

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, including Java 8 features, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Redis and AWS Cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of Hibernate/JPA and ORM concepts.
• Good understanding of High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an understanding of performance optimization and improvement techniques.
• Understanding of frontend technologies, particularly Angular, and how frontend applications interact with and leverage backend services.
• Experience developing large-scale, cloud-based applications using Microservices architecture on any leading cloud platform.
• Experience in handling production issues and troubleshooting at scale, with strong knowledge of scalable strategies for high-volume traffic, including database connection management, Kafka partitioning, pod scaling, and overall product scalability.
• Experience working with Agile software development methodologies and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Strong experience in writing unit and integration test cases using frameworks such as JUnit.
• Exposure to NoSQL/document databases, such as MongoDB and DynamoDB.
   

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SaaS solutions following Agile software development practices.
• Contribute as a Full-Stack Developer, including backend development, database design and queries, API development and integration, and frontend UI development.
• Independently develop and deliver high-quality, maintainable software in accordance with company standards, with minimal rework.
• Take ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of one or more components or modules within a project.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, performance optimization, and continuous improvement activities.

Optional / Good-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with Git and Jenkins.
• Exposure to cloud-native development and deployment practices.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
