Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain scalable, responsive interfaces in React and TypeScript across multiple Business Accounts.
  • Build and own shared remote modules (Module Federation) that plug into several host apps, keeping them versioned, backward compatible and safe to deploy independently.
  • Build UI with our xui design system, and help improve it by contributing components and patterns.
  • Turn product designs and user stories into high-quality, accessible UI components.
  • Integrate with REST and GraphQL APIs, and implement clear state management.
  • Handle authentication and session flows between host apps and modules, including passing Publisher Account tokens securely.
  • Optimize performance, loading and caching across browsers and devices.
  • Refactor legacy code (for example, older React and react-router versions) toward current best practices.
  • Write clean, testable code and keep test coverage healthy.
  • Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) every day to design, build, test and refactor code faster without lowering quality.
  • Add AI-assisted code review on top of manual review, check AI-generated code carefully, and help the team set good practices for AI-driven development.
  • Lead frontend design reviews and contribute to architecture decisions (ADRs).
  • Work closely with product, design, backend and partner teams such as Publisher Account and Site Builder to deliver features end to end.
  • Contribute to planning, estimation and delivery tracking.
  • Mentor engineers and give constructive code reviews.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Deep knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3 and Web APIs.
  • Experience with design systems and CSS-in-JS (for example styled-components), and responsive layouts.
  • Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs; familiarity with WebSockets and real-time data.
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants in daily work, and the judgment to review, test and correct what they produce.
  • Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) and agile workflows.
  • Experience with testing tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress or Playwright.
  • Good written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have

  • Experience with microfrontends (Module Federation) or monorepos.
  • Experience building or maintaining a shared component library or design system.
  • Experience with SSO, OAuth2 or JWT-based authentication across apps.
  • Experience working with a headless CMS.
  • Experience with Next.js, SSR/SSG or hybrid rendering.
  • Experience with B2B dashboards, admin tools or self-service portals.
  • Experience setting up AI workflows for a team, such as agents, custom skills or prompts, automated MR review, or AI-assisted testing.
  • A strong eye for UX polish, animation and interaction design.
