Senior Engineer, Mechanical Design

On-site Kamnik, Slovenia

The Impact You'll Make

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you'll help shape the next generation of heat exchanger technologies that support more energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.

You'll take a leading role in turning ideas into reliable, manufacturable products by combining mechanical design, engineering analysis, testing, and validation.

Working closely with experts across R&D, manufacturing, and product development, you'll help solve complex engineering challenges and ensure our products deliver the performance, quality, and cost efficiency our customers expect.

This is an opportunity to influence products from early concept through industrialization while contributing to technologies that support the global energy transition.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will work across the full product development lifecycle, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project teams to develop and optimize advanced heat exchanger technologies.

  • Lead the design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and products, ensuring reliability, manufacturability, and cost competitiveness
  • Plan and execute validation activities, including laboratory testing, engineering calculations, simulation support, and qualification programs to verify product performance and durability
  • Analyze experimental and simulation data to identify trends, improve product designs, and strengthen model accuracy
  • Drive root cause investigations, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives across products and processes
  • Contribute to innovation and technology development projects by partnering with cross-functional teams throughout design reviews, prototype development, and product launches

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and turning ideas into robust products.

You combine strong engineering fundamentals with a practical, hands-on approach to product development and validation.

To be successful in this role, you will likely bring:

  • A Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience developing mechanical products or systems from concept through validation and industrialization
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical design, structural analysis, materials, and manufacturing processes
  • Experience using CAD and engineering simulation tools to support product development
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to translate analysis, testing, and engineering insights into practical solutions

Experience with heat exchangers, design optimization, advanced validation methods, or data-driven engineering approaches would be an advantage. However, we recognize that great candidates bring different backgrounds and experiences, and we encourage you to apply even if your experience does not perfectly match every area listed above.

What You'll Get from Us

You'll help engineer a better future by contributing to solutions that make a real difference around the world.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with advanced heat exchanger technologies, influence products from concept to production, and collaborate with talented colleagues across multiple engineering disciplines.

We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.

You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Your well-being matters to us.
