Senior Developer

Job Summary

• Design, develop, configure, and implement GE Proficy Plant Applications MES solutions, including Production, Quality, Efficiency, and Tracking modules to support manufacturing operations and digital transformation initiatives.
• Analyze business and manufacturing requirements, create functional and technical designs, and develop customizations using Proficy MES, Microsoft SQL Server, .NET technologies, and integration frameworks.
• Integrate GE Proficy MES with enterprise and shop-floor systems such as SAP/ERP, SCADA, Historian, PLCs, OPC, and other manufacturing applications to enable seamless data exchange and end-to-end process visibility.
• Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and production support activities while ensuring system reliability, data integrity, and compliance with manufacturing and quality standards.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in solution architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and support project delivery activities including testing, deployment, documentation, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

• 6+ years of MES experience with strong expertise in GE Proficy Plant Applications
• SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures
• .NET/C#, Web Services, APIs
• Manufacturing domain knowledge (Discrete/Process Manufacturing)

Integration experience with ERP, SCADA, Historian, and shop-floor systems
