Senior Buyer

What you will do

Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities for our İzmir manufacturing operation. You will ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services while supporting business objectives related to quality, delivery, and cost.

How you will do it

• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and global suppliers.
• Drive cost savings, supplier performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Support compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procurement processes.

What we look for

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Solid procurement experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Preferred

• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Previous experience in a multinational organization.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management practices.
