Hardware Asset Analyst (ServiceNow HAM Pro)

 

Location: Offshore Remote
Experience: 3+ Years

Overview

We are seeking a Hardware Asset Analyst to support the full lifecycle management of IT hardware assets using ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro). This role is responsible for maintaining accurate asset records, inventory reconciliation, lifecycle tracking, and reporting to ensure asset compliance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain hardware asset management process in ServiceNow.
• Identify opportunities to automate asset-related workflows.
• Manage hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, from acquisition to end-of-life, in ServiceNow HAM Pro.
• Maintain accurate asset inventory and ownership records.
• Collaborate with CMBD, Discovery, and IT Operations teams to ensure alignment between asset and configuration data.
• Perform asset reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support development of replacement and refresh strategies with Dept leaders
• Support procurement, deployment, refresh, and retirement activities.
• Monitor asset compliance, warranties, and stockroom inventory.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and asset management metrics.
• Collaborate with IT, procurement, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT Asset Management experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow HAM Pro experience.
• Strong understanding of hardware asset lifecycle processes.
• Experience with inventory management and asset audits.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• ITIL or ServiceNow HAM certification preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations.
• Ability to overlap with Eastern Time business hours.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Experience working in global asset management operations.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
